Taking our kids to school is the best gift we can give them. Protecting their right to learn and to stay healthy is our job. The good thing is that one goes hand in hand with the other, and school is the perfect ally to help us. Children trust us, and they know we hold the key to open the door that gives them more chances than anything else: the door to school.

School is much more than lessons and homework. It’s a safe and caring place where kids also learn healthy habits and grow feeling part of their community. They make friends and find a group of adults who care for them, work alongside their families to support them, and help them follow their dreams. When we make school a daily priority, we give our children not only knowledge, but also wellness, friendships, and hope. Every day in the classroom is a step toward a brighter future.

At school, kids meet other children every day. By playing and talking, they become friends. They share dreams, interests, and challenges because they live in the same community and go through the same things. They also spend time with adults who see them, listen to them, guide them, and encourage them. In the classroom, they live the powerful experience of being part of a community.

"One of the greatest gifts you can give a child is a sense of belonging." — Robert John Meehan

Going to school lets kids connect and feel part of a group. They don’t just learn to read, write, and do math: they learn to share, to work together, and to live with others. We know that “belonging” is important at any age, but during childhood it is essential. Daily attendance builds routines, self-confidence, and a sense of belonging—three strong pillars for their growth.

Our children need to see our firm decision to send them to school, that second home with clear rules, kindness, and trust, where there is time to learn, play, talk, eat, and build healthy habits.

And it’s not only the kids who find support at school. Schools are also a place of help and reference for the whole family, in good times and in difficult ones. Sending our children to school means joining a human network that supports each other.

"We are stronger when we listen, and wiser when we share." — Rania Al-Abdullah

This back-to-school season, we have the chance to renew our promise of growth, learning, and well-being. The classroom is ready to be filled with shared dreams, challenges overcome, and new goals to reach. Principals, teachers, staff, students, and families share hopes and commitments for the future of the children who learn there. In classrooms, moments and learning happen that would be impossible alone. Going back to school is a way to say we are united in building a better society.

Schools are waiting for us with care, ready to know each child, their talents, needs, and unique qualities. Taking them by the hand back to the classroom is an act of hope. It means choosing to keep building safe paths for those who trust us. Each learning moment is a window opening, a sign that they keep growing toward a brighter future.
